Vehicle & Finance Sales Consultant
The business sells new and pre-registered vans over the telephone to small businesses. The business is predominantly marketed on the internet to solicit emails and telephone calls. The business has a real competitive price advantage over franchise dealers as vehicles are sourced at heavily discounted prices. The vehicles are often sold with finance which generates additional income for the business. Once all of the funds have been received the vehicle is delivered by a dealer or supplier to the end user’s front door. Zebra do not usually see or touch the vehicles. There is no forecourt of stock.
The Role
To receive incoming emails and telephone calls from prospective customers. Qualify the customer’s needs and ability to buy before closing the sale with healthy gross profit margins. Product knowledge of vans is not necessary as training will be given. The opportunity to generate income from vehicle finance should be maximised also by offering alternative solutions that suit the customer’s budget.
